Cotop Masterclass 1

In January this year Cotop International has organized a very successful workshop called "Cotop Masterclass 1"
Three lectures were given by well known doctors. Prof.dr. M.E. Sluijter gave a lecture on developments in Pulsed Radiofrequency. Dr. Alex Cahana talked about Philosophy in pain management and Dr. Alexandre Teixeira explained a new procedure for treatment of discogenic pain.
These lectures were all recorded by Flivopress, so they can be seen on our newest DVD, available in our online store. Also, the hand-out of this Cotop Masterclass 1, which was spread during the lectures, is available in our online store.

Manual of RF Techniques
A PRACTICAL MANUAL OF RADIOFREQUENCY PROCEDURES IN CHRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT
Dr. Charles A. Gauci MD FRCA FIPP Consultant in Pain Management, Whipps Cross University Hospital, London & King George Hospital, Essex U.K.

This book covers all the (P)RF techniques, which are commonly carried out in chronic pain management; it is lavishly illustrated with X-rays and explanatory graphics. The emphasis in the book is pictorial with text reduced to a minimum, sufficient to carrying out the techniques in question. This should make it very easy to use.
The style is simple, straightforward and didactic so as to make life easier for the beginner!

This book is not a lengthy dissertation on Radiofrequency or a discussion of evidence, it is simply a ‘How to do it’ instruction manual. There is an introductory chapter on the science of RF and of pulsed RF, but just enough to enable the user to understand the nature of the electric currents he/she is using.

This book will guide the beginner through some very complicated techniques; it is an invaluable tool for doctors who are interested in interventional pain management, especially if they intend to sit for the FIPP Diploma of the World Institute of Pain.

The material used is one of laminated pages, hence spill proof, especially designed for easy use in the operating theatre. The complimentary waterproof pen, which is supplied with the book, allows the reader to add his/her own notes and comments enabling the manual to become a trusted friend in times of need!

All pages are in full colour, and the book is supplied in a protective case for easy recognition on a bookshelf.

‘A Manual of RF techniques’ is a must for the interventional pain physician.
